KUANTAN, Sept 28 (Bernama) -- The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, have conveyed their condolences to the family of Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, who died at the National Heart Institute (IJN) here this morning.
In a post shared on the Pahang Sultanate Facebook page, Their Royal Highnesses expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Tun Dr Siti Hasmah, wife of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah also expressed hope that the family would be granted strength and fortitude in facing the loss of their loved one, according to the post.
“Their Royal Highnesses pray that Allahyarhamah’s soul be showered with mercy, her sins forgiven, and that she be placed among the believers and the righteous. Al-Fatihah,” the post read.
