IPOH, June 6 (Bernama) -- "Alhamdulillah, thank you to the Malaysian people who prayed a lot for Jaslinda."
That was the reaction given by Jasima Saludin, 52, regarding her sister Jaslinda, 49, who was found safe near Kampung Lubuk Gaharu, Pos Musoh near Tapah, this afternoon.
Jasima, who was contacted by Bernama, said that she and her husband were their way to Tapah to meet her younger sister.
"I went back home (Kuala Lumpur) briefly yesterday to attend to family matters. After that, I received a calls from friends and saw on social media (regarding the news that Jaslinda was found), so I just headed straight to Tapah," she said.
She said the first thing she would do when meeting Jaslinda is to check on her sister's condition. I would see how she is doing, whether she is healthy or not, but from the video earlier, she seems alright, Alhamdulillah. I don't want to ask other questions but want her to be calm.
"When it is the appropriate time, we will ask about what happened to her. Alhamdulillah, thank you to the Malaysian people for praying for her, thank you to the SAR team and everyone who helped," she added.
Earlier, Perak Fire and Rescue Department director Datuk Sayani Saidon reported that Jaslinda was found safe by a resident, Nazri Bah Eng, around 3 pm.
At this time, the process of bringing Jaslinda out is still ongoing and she will be taken to Tapah Hospital for further treatment.
