KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 (Bernama) -- A covered futsal court in Kampung Chengal Lempong, Kuantan, Pahang, has been completed and is now open for use, said Political Secretary to the Prime Minister Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi.

He said the futsal court was built under the Kampung Angkat MADANI initiative, with RM500,000 allocated to Kampung Chengal Lempong.

He said the adopted village programme was inspired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and focuses on improving basic infrastructure and public facilities while strengthening social well-being, youth development, and community resilience, particularly in rural areas.

“The court was built to provide a safe, more suitable sports facility for the local community, while supporting youth activities at the village level in line with the Kampung Angkat MADANI initiative.

“It is hoped the facility will be fully used by the local youths as a platform to promote a healthy lifestyle and strengthen community spirit, Insya-Allah,” he said in a Facebook post today.

In the same post, Ahmad Farhan shared a visit to the project site, joined by the director of the Pahang Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU), Datuk Razihan Adzharuddin, and the department’s team, during which he was briefed on the project.
