KUALA LUMPUR, April 28 (Bernama) -- The FELDA Housing Cooperative (KPF) will continue to be strengthened through a more focused approach, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said today.
In a Facebook post, Ahmad Zahid stated that the move aims to ensure the welfare and interests of the FELDA community are always protected.
Ahmad Zahid, who is also the Minister of Rural and Regional Development, described KPF as an institution that has long served as a pillar of economic well-being for the FELDA community, particularly by providing savings opportunities, investments and dividend returns.
"Earlier, I listened to a presentation by KPF chairman Datuk Mohd Banuri Aris regarding the cooperative's current developments, as well as several matters requiring attention to ensure the continuity and strength of this institution remain protected,” he said.
He expressed confidence that efforts to reinforce the cooperative would continue to be strengthened through a more focused and impactful approach to ensure that the FELDA community’s welfare and interests are always preserved.
