BANGKOK, Dec 11 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi spent time watching the gold medal match for the men's team karate kata event at the 2025 SEA Games at Chaeng Watthana Government Complex today.
Ahmad Zahid's presence was part of his three-day working visit to Bangkok from Wednesday to Friday.
Earlier, Ahmad Zahid had time to meet and give words of encouragement to the national athletes who later won the silver medal after losing to Thailand through a jury decision.
Meanwhile, the women's squad took home the bronze medal in the same event after losing to Vietnam in the semi-finals.
Ahmad Zahid also presented the medals to the winners.
