Monsta Releases Boboiboy Galaxy Windara Teaser Poster

KUALA LUMPUR, March 14 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's favourite superhero, BoBoiBoy has released a teaser poster for its upcoming Windara arc, slated for release this June.

In a statement today, Animonsta Studios (MONSTA) said this poster release not only coincides with BoBoiBoy’s 13th admirable achievement of hitting its 13th anniversary today but is also hoped to excite all fans and followers to look forward to back-to-back series releases for more years to come.

It said BoBoiBoy's return in December last year after its five-year hiatus was heralded by 'BoBoiBoy Galaxy SORI,' a six-episode animated show that aired across YouTube, TV9, and Netflix, drawing staggering viewership and cementing BoBoiBoy's status as an entertainment titan.

The show captivated millions of viewers across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region and clinched the ‘Top 10 Netflix TV Series’ list in Malaysia over 100 days.

MONSTA chief executive officer Nizam Razak shared his enthusiasm about the overwhelming response to 'BoBoiBoy Galaxy SORI,' even after the hiatus.

“We received such amazing feedback and viewership during the release. It confirmed that BoBoiBoy continues to be a powerhouse,” he was quoted as saying in the statement.

Looking forward, Nizam teased that 'BoBoiBoy Galaxy Windara' would be screened on more platforms, promising availability to watch the show on the same day as the Malaysian release to encourage excitement among overseas fans.

‘BoBoiBoy Galaxy Windara’ is the second of four arcs in the eagerly anticipated BoBoiBoy Galaxy Season 2. Following this hype, MONSTA plans to release the third movie for BoBoiBoy after the season’s completion. 

This year, which also marks MONSTA's 15th anniversary, promises to be an exciting one for fans, with teasers for 'Mechamato Series Season 3' and the 'P.A.P.A Movie' on the horizon as well, the statement said.
