Aloft Kl Sentral Expects More Than 400 Rooms With Xr Facilities To Be Booked

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 17 (Bernama) -- Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral is aiming to see more than 400 rooms booked for the newly-launched XR Exploration Room package for stays from Nov 1 until Dec 31 this year.

In collaboration with extended reality (XR) technology company PICO Malaysia, Aloft is offering 50 rooms at the top-floor levels which are equipped with XR headsets into which a curated selection of 15 different games and apps have been pre-downloaded, said Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral general manager Michael Grimmer.

He said the hotel is the first in Malaysia to provide XR facilities for guests.

“The purpose of this collaboration, aligned with the hotel tagline ‘Different by Design” ,is to leverage technology and innovative design to enhance guest experiences and adapt to their evolving needs,” he said at the launch of the collaboration between Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral and PICO XR here today.

Meanwhile, PICO Malaysia and Singapore country manager Mark Li said through this partnership, guests are offered a chance to explore different realities without leaving the room during their staycation.

“We are creating unforgettable memories by integrating PICO's cutting-edge technology with Aloft's vibrant spaces," he said.

The price to book a stay at the XR Exploration Room starts from RM580+ per night during this limited-time offering. Booking starts today.
