Sunway Resort offers Father's Day barbecue buffet weekend on June 18-19

KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 (Bernama) -- The Resort Café @ Sunway Resort is offering a meaningful way for its diners to celebrate Father’s Day this year with a barbecue buffet lunch and dinner weekend on June 18 and 19.

In a statement today, Sunway Resort said guests can look forward to an outdoor barbecue of the finest meats marinated in a secret blend of recipes featuring an extensive menu curated by chef de cuisine Afiq Matkhir.

“Discover highlights from our menu that include a 24-hour mushroom-rubbed roasted beef ribeye with black pepper sauce, roasted saddle of lamb with rosemary sauce wrapped in layers of homemade sausages and a whole roasted chicken with mushroom sauce.

“The pièce de résistance is an outdoor backyard barbecue-inspired pop up for fathers to be our King of the Grill!” it said.

Meanwhile, the statement said that Sunway Resort guests may also sign up for hands-on activities designed for fathers and children, in addition to the opportunity to test ride a series of BMW motorbikes including the R18, compliments of BMW Motorrad Millennium Welt.

“Fathers and children can also sign up for extra special activities curated by our culinary team, ‘Papa’s Pizza-making’ and ‘Pop’s Focaccia Bread Art’,” it detailed.

However, the statement said prior reservation is required for the activities due to the limited number of seats.

The barbecue buffet weekend will be available on June 18 for lunch and dinner and on June 19 for lunch only, priced at RM198 nett per adult and RM99 nett per child aged six to 12.
