Tealive launches new concept store, maiden collaboration with Nestle

KUALA LUMPUR, April 27 (Bernama) -- Loob Holding Sdn Bhd, the brand owner of Tealive, has launched Tealive Plus, a new concept store at Pavillion Kuala Lumpur.

Loob Holding founder and chief executive officer Bryan Loo said Tealive Plus offers a more exclusive offering with premium ingredients to cater to the higher end locations.

“Premium means we use fresh produce like fresh berries in our drinks and artisan snacks menu where we have a hot kitchen as well.

“At the same time, we are still making these new premium products affordable for all levels of customers despite the continuously rising cost of raw food items,” he told reporters at the store launch and its collaboration with Nestle’s KitKat chocolate brand.

Loo further said the company plans to open about 10 more concept stores in Kuala Lumpur, including in Bangsar, Mont Kiara, and the Kuala Lumpur City Centre.

In total, Tealive, which was born in 2017, currently has over 700 stores in Malaysia.

Loo said as a lifestyle tea brand in Southeast Asia, it is also planning to expand at least one concept store in each regional market.

Tealive is also present in Australia, Brunei, Myanmar, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Meanwhile, Nestle Professional, business executive officer for Malaysia and Singapore, Yit Woon Lai said the maiden collaboration with Tealive marks a significant milestone for both parties to work closer in the future.

“KitKat is a world-famous chocolate wafer brand, and blending it into Tealive’s tea is a great joint effort by both the research and marketing teams.

“For sure, this is not the end of this collaboration and we look forward to more joint efforts as Nestle has a wide variety of products,” said Yit.

At the event, Loo and Yit introduced Tealive’s KitKat Coco Wafer Smoothie. The latest range comprises Berry Smoothie and Signature Smoothie, which are made with KitKat spread.
