EcoWorld, Xiaohongshu Launch Red Dot Culture And Lifestyle Event At BBCC

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 (Bernama) — Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) has partnered with global lifestyle platform Xiaohongshu (XHS) to launch the “Cuti-Cuti Kuala Lumpur Red Dot Event”, a month of culture, lifestyle and digital connectivity at Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC).

Running from Sept 27 to Oct 31, the event features Malaysian heritage showcases, artisanal crafts, creative workshops, traditional games and digital engagement activities, alongside exclusive shopping rewards, inviting both locals and tourists to rediscover BBCC.

EcoWorld president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah said the initiative reflects the company’s vision of creating vibrant spaces that inspire communities to connect and experience the city in meaningful ways.

“At EcoWorld, we believe in co-creating developments that go beyond physical spaces to inspire how people live, connect and experience the city. 

“Partnering with Xiaohongshu allows us to celebrate culture, lifestyle and digital engagement in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, attracting both local and international visitors,” he said at the EcoWorld x Xiaohongshu Red Dot launch at BBCC today.

Chang added that BBCC has always been envisioned as a dynamic urban destination, and the event reflects the company’s commitment to bringing that vision to life.

The Red Dot highlights include a Festival Week from Sept 27 to Oct 5 at TUAH 1895, offering congkak, batu seremban, hopscotch, lantern-making and batik workshops, as well as a live Gu Zheng performance on Oct 5.

The campaign, which takes place across TUAH 1895, The Labs and LaLaport BBCC, features spend-and-redeem promotions, interactive activities and social media engagements. 

Visitors can also redeem exclusive Captain Potato limited-edition merchandise and other gifts by meeting spending conditions or participating in the Snap, Post & Redeem activity on Xiaohongshu.

Participating partners include Hock Kee Kopitiam, Ministry of Crab, Chef Kecik Boulangerie, Ting Shan Cuisine, Pak Tok, Crafty’s Bar and Lounge, Luckin Coffee, O’Briens Irish Sandwich Café, immersify KL, Padi House x Kaki Lima and Kirana, alongside LaLaport BBCC, Mitsui Outlet Park BBCC and GSC BBCC LaLaport.
