KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 (Bernama) -- MIMOS Holdings Sdn Bhd today clarified that its collaboration with MyNasional Holdings Sdn Bhd is strictly focused on exploring potential strategic partnership opportunities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives.
Its chairman, Prof Dr Mohamad Salmi Mohd Sohod said the collaboration is currently at an early stage and formalised under a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
“The focus of this collaboration is AI initiatives only. We are not aware of any alternative digital ID initiative that is the subject of this specific partnership,” he said in a statement.
MIMOS Holdings also stated it holds no equity or ownership in MyDigital ID, and the collaboration does not involve any shareholding, equity participatio, or merger with MyDigital ID.
“MIMOS Holdings remains fully committed to transparency and responsible innovation. We look forward to exploring how this early-stage partnership can potentially advance the application of AI for national digital initiatives,” he added.
