COVID-19 deaths start to rise again in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, June 15  -- Brazil reported 1,129 deaths from COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.

The country's total number of confirmed cases has surpassed 17.4 million with 37,948 new cases, according to the data from the Ministry of Health.

Approximately 490,000 people in the country have died due to the pandemic.

The last time when the country surpassed this level was more than a month ago.
