09/02/2026 04:07 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 9 (Bernama) -- The Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC) serves as a One-Stop Centre in conjunction with the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign through the organisation of cultural exhibitions and performances that bring together various national arts, culture and heritage agencies to one location.

Tourism Malaysia said in a statement that the initiative, in collaboration with MaTiC, aims to introduce the rich traditional heritage, visual arts, handicrafts and gastronomy, as well as Malaysian cultural performances, to domestic and international visitors, thus boosting the country's image as a world-class cultural tourism destination.

Among the main programmes to be showcased are the introduction to the diverse Malaysian heritage cuisine by the National Heritage Department, an exhibition of local handicrafts by Kraftangan Malaysia, as well as an exhibition of artwork by local artists by the National Art Gallery.

Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Chiew Choon Man hopes that the establishment of the One-Stop Centre would provide a comprehensive platform enabling visitors to enjoy a holistic experience, encompassing arts, culture, heritage and elements of Malaysian well-being in just one visit, in line with the aspirations of VM2026.

Sales exhibitions and activities are also open to the public daily from 10 am to 6 pm, while the cultural performances are held daily according to the fixed schedule.

The public is invited to visit MaTiC to experience the unique heritage and rich culture of Malaysia. For more information, visit the MaTiC website at www.matic.gov.my.
