KOTA BHARU, July 30 -- The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) is giving away 700 boxes of essential items to be distributed to asnaf students (eligible tithe recipients) in 14 parliamentary constituencies in Kelantan.
Kelantan PTPTN general manager Mohd Azrul Akmal Mamat said it was part of PTPTN’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, PTPTN Prihatin.
Each parliamentary constituency will receive 50 boxes, he said when met after handing over 50 of the boxes to the Kota Bharu Bersatu Education Bureau chairman Ahmad Rozman Ismail, here today.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Rozman said the boxes would be distributed to 10 students from B40 households in five schools in the Kota Bharu district, namely Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Sultan Ismail, SMK Tanjong Mas, SMK Kota Bharu, SMK Kota and SMK Pintu Geng.
