Fahmi Reza arrested for allegedly insulting the Queen

KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 -- Police have arrested activist Fahmi Reza for a post on social media involving the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.

Dang Wangi District Police chief ACP Mohamad Zainal Abdullah, when contacted, confirmed the arrest.

“He (Fahmi) is being detained at the Dang Wangi District Police Headquarters and the case has been handed over to Bukit Aman for investigation,” he told Bernama today.

Fahmi is claimed to have recently uploaded a post titled “This is dengki ke?” on his Facebook page allegedly insulting Tunku Azizah.
