PUTRAJAYA, Jan 6 -- The first Cabinet meeting for this year went fully digital today.
This was shared by Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali who also posted a photo of the ongoing meeting on his social media.
Mohd Zuki said the initiative was in support of the sustainable development agenda set under the Sustainable Development Goals.
On the meeting, he said Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin stressed that the government should focus on improving the quality of public health, strengthening the country's economy through the implementation of the 2021 Budget as well preserving political stability, racial harmony, and national sovereignty.
Meanwhile, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Khairy Jamaluddin said the Malaysian Cabinet finally went completely paperless where all information that they need could be accessed using their electronic devices.
"After transitioning for six months where we still received a box of physical papers every week, today there is none. Everything on a secure server accessible by our devices. Better late than never,” he tweeted.
