FWD TAKAFUL LAUNCHES #BUSINESSWITHASOUL CAMPAIGN

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 -- FWD Takaful Bhd (FWD Takaful), through its largest agency group, Caliph Consultancy Group Sdn Bhd, has launched #BusinessWithASoul, a campaign to raise awareness on the importance of takaful protection.

Under the campaign, Caliph Group’s team members will visit selected B40 communities nationwide to provide free advice and counselling, as well as to introduce FWD Kasih, a takaful micro product specially crafted for low income communities. 

“We are aware of the people’s financial concerns, especially since this year has been very challenging.

“We hope to be able to help alleviate the community’s financial burden and change the people’s perception on takaful,” said FWD Takaful chief agency officer Wan Mohd Fadhlan Mohd Azmi in a statement today.

Meanwhile, Caliph Group agency founder and director Mohd Hamzavi Md Zain said FWD Kasih is a takaful product which is affordable, easy and can help the low income earners in times of need.

“Our agents will travel nationwide to educate and assist the B40 communities in seeing how Takaful can help their families overcome financial challenges,” he said.

As part of the campaign, Caliph Group will conduct various activities such as opening information booths as well as providing free counselling.

The group may also explore collaborations with non-governmental organisations (NGO) in line with its long-term aim to build a resilient community through financial security. 

Among other things, FWD Kasih provides takaful protection for those with household incomes of up to RM5,000 a month, where the total sum covered would be paid in full in the event of death and full permanent disability.

Additionally, it also offers haj-by-proxy (Badal Haji) benefits and coverage for funeral expenses up to RM3,000.
