KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4 (Bernama) -- Both bounds of the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) between Shah Alam and Setia Alam (KM8.7 to KM9.3), which were closed following flash floods early today, have been reopened to all vehicles.
PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) said that as a safety measure during the flooding, vehicles from Subang heading southbound towards Shah Alam were diverted off the expressway via the North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE).
It said vehicles from Bukit Raja heading northbound towards Subang were diverted at the Setia Alam Interchange and those from Setia Alam were diverted to Bukit Raja.
“Highway users are encouraged to refer PLUS’ official channels through X @PLUSTrafik, the PLUS App, Electronic Message Boards (VMS), the PLUS virtual assistant PUTRI and official PLUS social media platforms for the latest updates on weather and flood conditions and available alternative routes.
“For immediate assistance, please contact PLUSLine at 1-800-88-0000, use the SOS button on the PLUS App, or chat with our virtual assistant, PUTRI,” it said in a statement.
