JEDDAH, June 5 (Bernama-SPA) -- Saudi Arabia’s Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Ministry continues to distribute Holy Quran copies to departing pilgrims at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift programme for departing pilgrims at the conclusion of the 1447 AH Haj season.
As of Dhu Al-Hijjah 18, a total of 153,760 copies had been distributed, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The copies included various editions produced by King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex in Madinah in different sizes to meet the needs of pilgrims.
The gift also included translations of the meanings of the Holy Quran in multiple languages, helping convey its message to people of different nationalities and cultures.
