MetMalaysia Issues Thunderstorm Warning For Three States Until 1 Am

KUALA LUMPUR, June 7 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds for several areas in Kelantan, Terengganu and Sarawak until 1 am.

MetMalaysia, in a statement, said the areas expected to be affected are Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Bachok and Pasir Puteh in Kelantan, as well as Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu, Marang dan Dungun in Terengganu.

In Sarawak, the areas expected to be hit are Kapit (Song, Kapit and Bukit Mabong), Miri (Beluru, Telang Usan and Marudi) and Limbang.
