6.5-Magnitude Quake Hits Vanuatu -- USGS

HONG KONG, Feb 14 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 jolted 59 kilometres (km) west of Port-Olry, Vanuatu at 02:27:41 GMT on Saturday, said the United States (US) Geological Survey, reported Xinhua.

The epicentre, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at a latitude of 15.06 degrees south and at a longitude of 166.52 degrees east.
