KLCI Futures Ends Higher In Line With Firmer Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 16 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, tracking gains in the underlying cash market.

At the close, the December 2025 contract rose 4.5 points to 1,644.0, while the January, March and June 2026 contracts gained 5.5 points each to 1,647.50, 1,631.0 and 1,634.0, respectively.

Turnover increased to 7,689 lots from 5,068 lots on Monday, while open interest rose to 44,290 contracts from 41,488 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 4.59 points, or 0.28 per cent, to 1,648.31 from Monday’s close of 1,643.72.
