FBM KLCI Futures Close Mostly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 6 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mostly higher on Wednesday.

At the close, the spot month of August 2025 gained 3.5 points to 1,543.0, September 2025 rose 5.0 points to 1,524.0, December 2025 increased 5.5 points to 1,524.50, while March 2026 remained unchanged at 1,507.0.

Turnover decreased to 5,351 lots from 5,756 on Tuesday, while open interest inched up to 42,730 contracts from 42,660 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 2.84 points or 0.19 per cent to close at 1,541.48 from Tuesday’s close of 1,538.64.
