DUBLIN, IRELAND, May 11 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- An Irish Air Corps aircraft arrived at Casement Aerodrome Baldonnel in Dublin on Sunday, May 10, carrying two suspected hantavirus cases evacuated from near Tenerife, according to flight tracking data and local reports, Anadolu Ajansi reported.
The Dassault Falcon 6X jet flew from the Canary Islands to Ireland as part of an international medical evacuation operation linked to the MV Hondius vessel.
Irish health and emergency authorities had not released details about the patients’ conditions following the aircraft’s arrival at the military airport as of Sunday evening.
The evacuation operation followed suspected hantavirus cases reported aboard the vessel near Tenerife.
