KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Food Fair 2025 (MFF) held recently in The Hague is important in promoting Malaysia's rich and diverse culture in the Netherlands, said Ambassador of Malaysia, Datuk Roseli Abdul.

"It is also serving as a platform to strengthen unity among the Malaysian diaspora in the country," said Roseli in his officiating remarks at the MFF on Sept 28, according to a statement by the Malaysian embassy on Thursday.

Co-organised by the Embassy of Malaysia in the Netherlands and PERWAKILAN The Hague, MFF is an annual event held to promote Malaysian culture and culinary heritage.

Some 700 guests gathered at the embassy for the occasion featuring 10 stalls selling homemade Malaysian delicacies such as nasi lemak, ABC, kuih nyonya, roti canai, yong tau foo, rotiboy, soto, mee bandung, and satay.

Guests also took part in sideline activities, including a silat competition.

MFF2025 was supported by vendors, the Agriculture Counsellor Office, MATRADE, and Tourism Malaysia in The Hague, the embassy said.
