BATU PAHAT, Jan 24 (Bernama) -- The National Audit Department of Malaysia (JANM) has announced the successful completion of all projects under the MADANI Adopted Village programme in Kampung Minyak Beku.
In a statement, JANM listed the completed works, which included upgrading a cemetery fence, the Balai Islam community hall, and the toilets at Masjid Jamek Haji Arshad to provide more comfortable and suitable facilities for religious and community use.
The department also confirmed the completion of a project to upgrade water pipelines for 19 houses, resolving longstanding issues with clean water supply.
A handover ceremony for the projects was held today, officiated by the Auditor General of Malaysia, Datuk Zainani Jusoh, and attended by Batu Pahat MP Onn Abu Bakar.
Zainani said the initiatives demonstrate the government's commitment to ensuring public spending delivers tangible social benefits.
"We also wish to acknowledge the strategic cooperation of government agencies and their dedication to monitoring and ensuring the satisfactory completion of these projects," she added.
Kampung Minyak Beku was designated as JANM's MADANI Adopted Village by the Ministry of Finance in March 2025.
