KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 (Bernama) -- The body of an unidentified woman was found face-down on rocks under the Klang River bridge near Jalan Jurutera in Puchong this morning.
Subang Jaya district police chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said police received a report from a member of the public at 11.58 am, and a team was dispatched to the scene.
“Initial examination revealed that the body was dressed entirely in black, and no identification documents or personal belongings were found on the victim.
“A forensics team from the Selangor police contingent headquarters was at the scene and has classified the case as sudden death. Based on the condition of the body, the victim is believed to have been in the river for about 24 hours,” he said in a statement today.
Wan Azlan said the body has been sent to Serdang Hospital’s Forensic Department for a post-mortem, scheduled at 8 am tomorrow, to determine the cause of death.
