CelcomDigi Retail Revamp Boosts Productivity By Over 20 Pct Post-Merger

KUALA LUMPUR, July 16 (BERNAMA) -- CelcomDigi Bhd has recorded a more than 20 per cent increase in productivity across its newly conceptualised retail outlets, following a major revamp aimed at delivering a more immersive and digitally driven customer experience.

The improvement comes after the merger of Celcom’s Blue Cube outlets and Digi stores, which have since been consolidated and upgraded under a unified retail strategy.

Its chief executive officer, Datuk Idham Nawawi, said the refreshed outlets now reflect CelcomDigi’s commitment to curating personalised experiences aligned with evolving digital lifestyles.

“These stores now serve as key touchpoints in CelcomDigi’s broader retail transformation strategy following our merger between Celcom and Digi two years ago. We currently operate 61 self-owned outlets,” he told reporters during an exclusive media walkthrough.

The media tour was held at The Gardens Mall, which houses the first CelcomDigi Life flagship store since the merger. The second flagship store is located at Sunway Pyramid.

“This is more than just about numbers. It is about building a physical representation of a fully integrated digital lifestyle ecosystem, from health and entertainment to smart living,” Idham said.

He said the flagship outlet also introduces several firsts for CelcomDigi services, including a new “retail-in-retail” model through strategic collaborations with Samsung, Disney and Marvel, all of which play key roles in shaping its next-generation retail experience.

“CelcomDigi Life store is not just about selling devices. It is about enabling every aspect of the customer’s digital lifestyle.

"We currently operate over 10,000 retail touchpoints nationwide and plan to expand further to serve broader geographies," he added.
