KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 (Bernama) -- ExtraHop, a leader in modern network detection and response (NDR), is expanding operations in Singapore to support growing regional demand and strengthen data sovereignty for Asia Pacific (APAC) customers.
The move comes after a year of strong momentum for ExtraHop in APAC, where it posted a 62 per cent year-over-year revenue increase and won CybersecAsia’s Best in Cloud Security award.
This growth was largely driven by the addition of enterprise customers in highly regulated industries such as banking, the public sector, and critical infrastructure.
In a statement, its Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan, Ken Chen said ExtraHop has established itself as the preferred NDR provider in the APAC enterprise market.
“Our continued expansion across APAC is a strategic move to provide our customers with a distinct advantage in meeting evolving compliance demands and ensuring they have the absolute fastest pathway to detecting and neutralising advanced threats right here in the region,” he said.
The Singapore expansion includes a new local point of presence (PoP) aimed at accelerating threat detection and ensuring sensitive data remains within national borders in line with the Singapore Cybersecurity Act and other regulatory frameworks.
ExtraHop’s integrated platform combines NDR, network performance management, intrusion detection, and forensics, providing enterprises with full visibility across hybrid environments as cyber threats grow more complex.
A managing director overseeing technical information security at a major bank in Singapore said the platform’s cloud-first design enables rapid detection of threats across all layers of the OSI model, including within lateral (East-West) network traffic.
The company continues to garner industry recognition, having been named a Leader in NDR by Gartner, IDC, and Forrester.
