Lion Logistics Group Eyes Strategic Partnerships At Sabah, Oil, Gas And Energy Conference

KOTA KINABALU, July 3 (Bernama) -- Labuan-based Lion Logistics Group is leveraging its participation at the 12th Sabah Oil, Gas and Energy Conference and Exhibition (SOGCE) to expand its business networking and forge strategic partnerships within the regional energy sector. 

Taking place at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu from July 3 to 4, 2025, the conference provides a vital platform for industry collaboration, innovation, and growth.

The group told Bernama that with a focus on enhancing its role in the oil and gas supply chain, it is engaging with key stakeholders to promote its comprehensive logistics capabilities. 

The Lion Logistics Group comprises Lion Transport, Labuan’s largest shipping company; Kren Antarabangsa, a heavy-lift crane service provider; and Megah Port Management Sdn Bhd, the port operator for Labuan. 

The group’s combined services support a wide range of offshore and onshore energy logistics needs.

This year’s SOGCE gathers over 100 industry exhibitors and is expected to attract more than 4,000 attendees throughout the event.

Discussions are centred on energy development, financing, digital technology, and sustainable practices, making it a key event for firms seeking to innovate and adapt.

Lion Logistics Group’s participation underscores its commitment to positioning Labuan as a logistics gateway for East Malaysia’s energy industry. 

The group views the conference as an opportunity to explore joint ventures, promote inter-port connectivity, and offer end-to-end transport and port solutions that align with Sabah’s infrastructure growth.

As the two-day event continues, Lion Logistics Group is actively promoting its service portfolio, seeking long-term partnerships, and reinforcing its reputation as a reliable logistics partner in Borneo’s dynamic oil, gas, and energy landscape.
