SELANGOR, Aug 28 (Bernama) -- The World Islamic Tourism and Trade Exhibition (WITEX 2025) concluded its awards ceremony yesterday evening, organized by MATA, with the attendance of ministers, officials, and economic and cultural figures from around the world. The ceremony honored the Al-Sultan Restaurant chain, with Yemeni businessman Anas Al-Faqih receiving the award, along with the organizers. This honoring highlights the global presence of Islamic brands.
Al-Sultan Restaurant was honored last August 22, when Malaysian Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Chang Leh Kang presented it with the BeST 2.0 Award. The chain also announced the opening of two new branches in September, reflecting its expanding presence in the Malaysian market.
