Continue Empowering AMK Structure At Every Level - Adam Adli

JOHOR BAHRU, May 23 (Bernama) -- The leadership structure of the youth wing, Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) at every level needs to be strengthened to face today's political challenges.

AMK chief Adam Adli Abdul Halim said the empowerment of AMK would continue to be carried out by leaders at the division and branch levels to ensure the party wing is able to provide the best service to the central leadership.

"Contribute efforts to bolster AMK's strength at the division level, similar to what was highlighted at the central level. Focus on strength in formulating policies, engaging in intellectual discussions and discourse, as well as formulating more effective actions," he said.

"In this process, we cannot be apprehensive, afraid of comparison, feeling small or consider ourselves to have no role," he said in the closing speech on the debate of the AMK leader's speech in conjunction with the 2024/2025 AMK Congress here today.

Also present was the political secretary to the Minister of Finance Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, who is also deputy AMK chief.

Besides that, Adam Adli, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, said he was confident of AMK's fighting spirit to make a difference and being sensitive towards injustice, as its endeavour will never diminish despite great challenges.

"We should be grateful now that we are being tested with power, comfort, posts and positions but we will still maintain the same spirit and stand," he said.
