KUANTAN, June 16 (Bernama) -- The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, have conveyed their Maal Hijrah 1448H greetings to Muslims in the state.
In a post on the Kesultanan Pahang’s Facebook page, Their Royal Highnesses expressed hope that the new year would bring blessings, peace and happiness to all the people.
In addition, Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, in a Facebook post, also expressed hope that the new year would serve as a starting point for Muslims to renew their resolutions, strengthen their faith and increase charitable deeds in seeking the blessings of Allah SWT.
“Let us together embrace the spirit of the Prophet Muhammad’s Hijrah by making changes for the better, strengthening unity, instilling the values of integrity, and enhancing our commitment to developing the state and improving the well-being of the people.
“May Allah SWT always bestow His mercy, blessings and protection upon all of us, and grant us the strength to continue to be steadfast in every effort and sacrifice,” he said.
