Ahmad Zahid, Onn Hafiz Set To Attend BN's Johor Election Machinery Launch On June 7

JOHOR BAHRU, June 3 (Bernama) -- UMNO will launch its Barisan Nasional (BN) machinery for the upcoming Johor state election on Sunday (June 7).

Johor Umno Information chief Md Israk Abdullah said the launch of the election machinery is scheduled for 3.30 pm at Educity Stadium here.

He said BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister, and Johor BN chairman Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, who is also the caretaker Johor Menteri Besar, are expected to attend the launch.

"The launch is not merely a traditional party event, but rather a platform to demonstrate solidarity and the complete unity of the BN machinery in facing the challenges of election,” he said.

He added that the presence of supporters at the stadium is set to be proof of the people's unwavering backing for the BN leadership, which has long driven the state's development.

"Your presence is not just to fill the stadium seats, but to prove that BN’s spirit of struggle remains strong and continues to enjoy the trust of the people. Together, let us show the strength of our machinery, the unity of our members and our determination to ensure that Johor continues to progress, remain stable and prosper,” he said.

Md Israk called on all BN supporters to turn out in droves wearing BN's corporate blue attire.
