Selangor PKPS, KPDN To Hold 2026 PKPS Mega Aidiladha Sale

SHAH ALAM, May 19 (Bernama) -- The Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS), in partnership with the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN), will hold the 2026 Rahmah MADANI -Mega Aidiladha Sale from May 23 to 24 in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha celebrations.

PKPS group chief executive officer Datuk Dr Mohamad Khairil Mohamad Razi said the two-day sale aims to help Malaysians obtain daily necessities at cheaper and affordable prices and to prepare for Aidiladha.

“This initiative is PKPS’ continuous effort to help reduce the cost of living through offers of daily necessities at affordable prices.

“Various daily necessities and Aidiladha items will be offered at promotional prices that provide more savings to consumers,” he said in a statement today.

The sale will be held at eight selected locations around Selangor from 9 am to 2 pm, with necessities such as chicken, fish, beef, rice, eggs, cooking oil, flour, beehoon, sardines, biscuits, detergent and disposable diapers offered at promotional prices.

For May 23, the sale will be held at Dataran Bougainvilla, Kampung Sungai Kertas; the grounds of Nurul Hidayah Mosque, Kampung Pandan Dalam; Dataran Pantai Batu Laut and the Sabak Bernam parliamentary office, Bagan Nakhoda Omar.

For May 24, the sale will be at Balai Penghulu Telok Panglima Garang; the grounds of Taman Kem Flats, Port Klang; Dataran Ilmu Bandar Baru Selayang and the Sungai Buloh Econsave parking lot.

Visitors can buy a chicken at RM10, 900 grams (g) of fish (RM6.50), flour (RM2), beehoon (RM2.50), a tray of Grade B eggs (RM7), detergent (RM14), 900 g of beef (RM10), 5 kilogrammes (kg) of rice (RM12), sardines (RM5.50), biscuits (RM3), 2 kg cooking oil (RM10), and disposable diapers (RM7). 

Mohamad Khairil also reminded visitors to bring along their identification cards for registration and confirmation and that the promotional items were subject to the current stock at every location.

Besides the selected locations, PKPS is also carrying out the Raya Haji Ehsan Mart Promo as an additional choice for consumers to prepare for Aidiladha from May 15 to 31 at three Ehsan Mart branches - Ehsan Mart Sungai Tua, Selayang; Ehsan Mart Pandan Utama and Ehsan Mart Taman Melawati.

“Promotional products include frozen cockles, cili giling, kerisik, spices, and fried chicken,” he said as he expressed his hope that the initiatives would help Muslims prepare for Aidiladha while reducing their expenditure.
