KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower today, in line with weaker performance in the cash market.
The May 2026, June 2026, and December 2026 contracts fell 12.5 points each to 1,730.0, 1,729.0, and 1,712.0, respectively, while the September 2026 contract slid by 13.0 points to 1,710.0.
Turnover rose to 5,752 lots from 5,592 lots last Friday, while open interest declined to 36,031 contracts from 36,232 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) slipped by 12.51 points, or 0.72 per cent, to 1,727.71, from last Friday's close of 1,740.22.
