TEMERLOH, April 14 (Bernama) -- Prisons Commissioner-General Datuk Abdul Aziz Abdul Razak headed the list of 103 recipients of Pahang state honours and medals in conjunction with the 66th birthday celebration of the Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
The Tengku Mahkota of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah graced the third investiture session held at Dewan Tun Razak here today.
Also in attendance were Tengku Panglima Perang Tengku Ahmad Ismail Mu’adzam Shah, Tengku Arif Temenggong Tengku Fahad Mu'adzam Shah, Tengku Puteri Raja Tengku Puteri Afzan Aminah Hafidzatullah and her husband FD Idzham FD Iskandar, as well as Tengku Puteri Raja Tengku Puteri Jihan Athiyatullah.
Abdul Aziz was conferred the Darjah Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP), which carries the title Datuk Seri, together with Bukit Aman Special Branch director CP Datuk Ibrahim Darus and VST Group of Companies managing director Datuk Yeoh Yih Sean.
Also receiving the SSAP were KCJ Engineering Sdn Bhd managing director Datuk Dr Azman Yusoff and Oriental Holdings Bhd executive chairman Datuk Loh Kian Chong.
The Darjah Sri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP), which carries the title Datuk Indera, was conferred posthumously on former MCA national secretary the late Wang Choon Wing @ Wong Soon Joong, represented by his widow Yap Sew Lin.
The Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP), which carries the title Datuk, was conferred on Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department deputy director (Cyber Crime) DCP Shamsul Amar Ramli.
A total of 29 individuals received the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP), which also carries the title Datuk, including Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Faculty of Medicine dean Prof Dr Marina Mat Baki and Johor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission director Hairuzam Mohmad Amin @ Hamim.
Other DIMP recipients included Defence Adviser at the Malaysian Embassy in Bangkok Brig Gen Samsul Rizal Musa, MACC Special Operations Division deputy director Ismajuri Ismail, Bank Negara Malaysia assistant governor Mohd Fraziali Ismail, Fisheries Department senior director of conservation and fisheries protection Abdullah Jaafar, Pahang Chess Association president Hamidah Abdul Hamid and Labuan UMNO Wanita chief Niswati Tarji.
At the ceremony, Tengku Hassanal also conferred the Darjah Setia Ahmad Shah Pahang (SAP) on two recipients, Darjah Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP) on nine recipients, Darjah Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP) on 10 recipients, Darjah Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP) on 33 recipients and Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang (PKC) on five recipients.
He also conferred the Pingat Kelakuan Terpuji (PKT) on two recipients and Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK) on six recipients.
