KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), in collaboration with Asia e University (AeU) and the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), will host the Wacana Ilmiah Perdana event at WTCKL tomorrow.

MACC’s Strategic Communications Director, Hisyam Mohd Yusoff, said about 300 participants are expected to attend the inaugural forum, including enforcement officers, academics, and community leaders from the public and private sectors.

“The programme aims to share MACC’s experiences and insights on transforming the institution, highlighting education and prevention as key steps in advancing the fight against corruption.

“At the same time, the discourse aims to explore how education can shape a generation with strong integrity and promote social responsibility in addressing corruption and abuse of power,” he said in a statement today.

Hisyam said the initiative provides a platform for enforcement officers, academics, and community leaders to reinforce integrity in education and governance.

MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki is set to deliver the keynote speech, Memperkasa Integriti dan Tadbir Urus Melalui Kepimpinan Beretika (Empowering Integrity and Governance through Ethical Leadership).

The forum panel features MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention) Datuk Azmi Kamaruzaman, Asia e University Vice-Chancellor Prof Noor Raihan Ab Hamid, Malaysian Employers Federation Chief Executive Datuk Seri Rosman Mohamed, and Bentong MP and Special Committee on Corruption member Young Syefura Othman.

It will be chaired by a board member of the Malaysian Institute of Integrity and the chairman of Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd, Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali.

The public can follow the forum on MACC’s and AeU’s official Facebook pages.
