WASHINGTON, March 6 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- US President Donald Trump suggested Thursday that his administration would shift its focus to Cuba after completing military operations against Iran, Anadolu Ajansı (AA) reported.
"What's happening with Cuba is amazing, and we think that we want to fix it. Finish this one (Iran) first, but that will be just a question of time before you and a lot of unbelievable people are going to be going back to Cuba," he said during an event at the White House.
Trump said Cuba wants "to make a deal so badly."
Previously, he said Secretary of State Marco Rubio is holding talks with Cuba.
The US has reinstated its blockade of Cuba, declaring its intention to overthrow the republic's communist government by one means or another.
