KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has offered prayers for His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, to be granted long-lasting good health and for all treatment matters to be eased.
Zahid also prayed that His Majesty would recover quickly and be blessed by Allah SWT.
"May His Majesty always be under the protection, mercy and guidance of Allah SWT in continuing to reign over the nation and its people. Daulat Tuanku,” he posted on X today.
According to a statement issued by Istana Negara, Sultan Ibrahim is currently unwell due to musculoskeletal (involving muscles and bones) pain affecting his back and hips.
Istana Negara also said the King had been advised by medical specialists to rest and refrain from attending official engagements to allow for proper treatment and recovery.
