AZRB Shares Up At Early Trade After Securing RM430 Mln Works Contract In Pahang

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 (Bernama) -- Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB) shares rose at early trade today after secured a RM430.06 million works contract from the Public Works Department (JKR).

At 10.04 am, the company’s shares gained one sen to 16 sen with a total volume of 1.27 million shares traded

In a local bourse filing on Friday, the company said the contract is to undertake construction and upgrading works for the Cameron Highlands bypass project in Pahang.

“The project covers the construction of the Tanah Rata bypass, the upgrading of Federal Route FT59 from Tanah Rata to Kea Farm and the upgrading of Federal Route FT434 (Jalan Griddle).

“The contract duration is for 42 months, commencing on Feb 16, 2026 and expected to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings,” it said.
