KUALA TERENGGANU, Feb 8 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today launched the book Ijtihad Demi Rakyat at the Taman Tamadun Islam Convention Centre here.
The book is a compilation of excerpts from Ahmad Zahid’s speeches and key achievements in his capacity as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development.
In a statement, the Rural and Regional Development Ministry (KKDW) said the publication also brings together selected speeches, policy perspectives and ministry achievements reflecting how leadership mandates have been translated into structured actions, encapsulated in the phrase Dari Langit Turunnya Mandat, Kepada Desa Bakti Dipahat.
According to the ministry, the book reflects KKDW’s transformation from planning to implementation and its continued commitment to functioning as an integrated institution.
It added that the effort involves the ministry’s leadership, divisions and implementing agencies to ensure policies are not only well formulated but effectively executed for the well-being of the people.
The launch, held in conjunction with a dinner ceremony, was also attended by Deputy Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Rubiah Wang and the ministry’s top management.
