MyNIlSe To Be Expanded To Motorcycle Lanes At BSI, KSAB Starting Oct 15

JOHOR BAHRU, Oct 10 (Bernama) -- The National Integrated Immigration System (MyNIlSe) will be expanded to the motorcycle lanes at the Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) complexes of the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) and the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB) beginning Oct 15.

Johor Public Works, Transport, Infrastructure and Communications Committee chairman Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh said the expansion involves seven motorcycle exit lanes at the BSI and KSAB.

“Through this expansion, motorcycle users can enjoy faster and more convenient immigration clearance with the option of using either of two systems that offer the same high-speed functions - MyNIISe and MyBorderPass,” he said in a Facebook post.

He added that this digital transformation initiative ensures the border crossing process is more efficient, secure, and user-friendly.

MyNIISe is the official application of the Malaysian Immigration Department, which integrates various immigration services and facilities into a single digital platform. The app is available for download on the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Huawei AppGallery.

The Home Ministry began a trial run of the MyNIISe system at the CIQ BSI and the KSAB on Sept 22, which will continue until Feb 28 next year.

During the trial period, the existing QR code system and the MyBorderPass application will remain in use.

The MyNIISe system is among the key initiatives under the government’s reform agenda, with its implementation brought forward from the original schedule of March 2026 to accelerate digital transformation efforts.
