August 2025 Supplementary Electoral Roll Open For Review - EC

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 (Bernama) -- The Supplementary Electoral Roll for August 2025 (DPT BLN8/2025), verified and gazetted today, is open for review for 30 days until Oct 23, said Election Commission (EC) secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus.

He said DPT BLN8/2025 included the names of 55,047 citizens aged 18 and above between Aug 1 and 31, 2025, who were automatically registered as new voters.

Khairul Shahril said it also comprised 13,598 voters who had changed their constituencies and 2,198 voters who had updated their voting status or category.

“The EC calls on citizens aged 18 and above from Aug 1 to 31, 2025, and any registered voter who has applied for a change of constituency or voter status or category to check their names in DPT BLN8/2025,” he said in a statement.

He said checks can be made via the EC portal at https://www.spr.gov.my or https://mysprsemak.spr.gov.my, the official portals of state election offices at http://ppn.spr.gov.my, the online application (https://myspr.spr.gov.my), the MySPR Semak mobile app, or the hotline at 03-8892 7218.

Khairul Shahril said that voters whose names were not listed in DPT BLN8/2025 could submit a claim by completing Form C, while those wishing to object to the inclusion of their names could fill out Form D.
