PETRONAS LUBRICANTS, MERCEDES-BENZ IN PARTNERSHIP FOR AUTOMOTIVE AFTER-SALES

KUALA LUMPUR, April 18 (Bernama) -- Petronas Lubricants International (PLI) and Mercedes-Benz Global Customer Service and Parts are collaborating to develop technical solutions that optimise vehicle performance and efficiency, aimed at driving advancements within the automotive after-sales sector. 

PLI is the global lubricants manufacturing and marketing arm of national oil company Petronas.

Petronas said in a statement that the two global companies will harness digitalisation strategies adoption, tailored market approaches, robust global collaborations as well as initiatives aimed at achieving carbon neutrality, to deliver enhanced customer value within the sector.

PLI managing director and group chief executive officer Hezlinn Idris said both parties are expanding their global reach, making their solutions more accessible while prioritising customer value at the core of their offerings. "Leveraging our experience in the development of Fluid Technology Solutions️, we will continue to deliver innovative solutions to cater to advanced engine technologies and meet the high-performance driving needs of our customers including delivering improved fuel efficiency, engine performance and safety,” she said. 

Mercedes-Benz Group AG director of service and parts business and warranty and goodwill of Mercedes-Benz Cars, Andreas Jörg, said the strategic partnership with PLI is an exciting opportunity to further enhance its commitment to customers by collaborating on innovative technologies that will shape the future of mobility and customer experience. As part of the collaborative efforts, PLI and Mercedes-Benz Global Customer Service and Parts will also explore avenues for joint marketing initiatives, educational programs, and public outreach campaigns aimed at raising awareness about the significance of sustainable mobility solutions.
