KUALA LUMPUR, March 21 (Bernama) – Suria KLCC shopping mall extends an invitation to visitors to immerse themselves in cultural heritage during its 38-day Hari Raya campaign, from March 15 to April 21, for the upcoming Eid celebrations.
In its statement today, Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd highlighted that this year's garden-themed Hari Raya decorations are set to captivate visitors as the Centre Court has been transformed into an oasis of bougainvillaea flowers, palm trees, and various local tropical foliage.
Amid this splendid decor, stands a beautiful traditional Malay kampung house, adorned with authentic woven items such as baskets, hand fans, and trays.
"Visitors can also enjoy playing traditional games such as 'Teng Teng', 'Batu Seremban', and 'Congkak' throughout the Hari Raya campaign period.
"Suria KLCC's magnificent decoration this year also features a 60-foot-tall 'Pelita Lamp' structure at the Esplanade KLCC, recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records in 2022 as the largest 'Pelita Lamp' replica in Malaysia," the statement added.
Meanwhile, shoppers at Suria KLCC can look forward to rewards such as an RM100 shopping voucher and an exclusive set of Suria KLCC Hari Raya packets when they spend RM1,500 or more from March 15 to April 14, and the first 50 purchasers of Suria KLCC e-Vouchers worth RM1,000 will receive an additional e-Voucher valued at RM100.
The statement also mentioned that the Hari Raya campaign at Alamanda Putrajaya features a colourful woven theme against the backdrop of a tropical garden, running from March 15 to April 21.
During weekends starting from March 30 to April 7, there will be art and cultural activities for VIKids members, and visitors will have the opportunity to learn how to weave 'ketupat'.
