Tmm2024: Melaka Gov't Collaborates With Bernama To Organise Explorace

MELAKA, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- The Melaka state government, in partnership with the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama), will organise an explorace event as part of Visit Melaka 2024 (TMM2024).

Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh said the upcoming competition which offers various attractive prizes will involve media practitioners from across the country to enliven TMM2024.

"We have a host of exciting programmes lined up for TMM2024, and one of them is the explorace competition, which we'll be organising in collaboration with Bernama,” he told reporters at a ceremony to handover TMM2024 Lucky Draw prizes at Seri Negeri, Ayer Keroh here today.

At the event, the state government received a donation of 20 motorcycles valued at RM100,000 from Archway Malaysia Group, represented by its managing director, Mohd Ashraf Ahmad.

However, Ab Rauf did not provide any additional details regarding the explorace.

Meanwhile, he said the state government secured sponsorship totalling over RM1 million from various corporate sectors for the lucky draw programme in conjunction with TMM2024.

So far, eight cars, 23 motorcycles and various prizes including electrical appliances and boats have been handed over.

Ab Rauf expressed confidence that the government can procure an additional four cars, bringing the total to 12 cars for the lucky draw programme.
