KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- In conjunction with the eve of ‘Nisfu Syaaban’, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has invited all Muslims to elevate their acts of worship and strengthen their spirituality through remembrance (zikr) and prayers to Allah.
"This also signifies the nearing of Ramadan Al-Mubarak. Spiritual preparation and consistent practice will help us to embark on Ramadan's spiritual journey with full blessings," he said in a social media post today.
Anwar also suggested Muslims take the opportunity on this blessed night to fervently supplicate and pray for the dignity and honour of the Palestinians to be lifted and for the oppression against them to end.
