KUALA SELANGOR, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) through the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU) is organising the Central Zone MADANI Rakyat programme which is expected to draw 100,000 visitors.
PACU said the three-day programme beginning today is being held in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) and the Selangor government at the Kuala Selangor Sports Complex here.
"For the Central Zone, there are 34 booths by ministries, agencies, and state government, 40 food stalls, and 30 agro entrepreneur stalls.
"The programme focuses on activities related to agriculture and food security, technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programmes, as well as people's welfare programmes, in addition to various services provided by federal and Selangor government agencies in particular," it said in a statement.
The closing ceremony of the programme, which is a continuation of the MADANI Government One Year Anniversary programme, will be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Sunday.
