Tomislav Will Continue To Helm Terengganu Fc Next Season - Pbsnt

KUALA TERENGGANU, Dec 12 (Bernama) -- Supporters of Terengganu FC (TFC) can breathe a sigh of relief after receiving good news that their head coach, Tomislav Steinbruckner, has been announced to stay with the team for the upcoming season.

This was confirmed by Terengganu Football Association (PBSNT) president Hishamuddin Abdul Karim, through a post on his Facebook today. The confirmation was accompanied by a photo of him with Steinbruckner on the field, effectively dispelling rumours that former TFC manager Nafuzi Zain would return to Terengganu to helm the squad.

"This picture is sufficient to depict who will be the head coach of TFC next season. I advise all Terengganu football fans not to be misled by unverified news sources. I believe this clarification is enough to reassure all Terengganu football supporters," he said.

Meanwhile, Hishamuddin said that PBSNT has given a mandate to Terengganu FC Sdn Bhd (TFCSB) to set up a Technical and Selection Committee to propose coaching staff and players for each team under TFCSB for the upcoming season.

He clarified that this measure was implemented to prevent any interference from the chairman and board members of PBSNT in both the team formation process and the direct appointment of the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and other relevant parties.

He added that a Sporting Director will also be appointed by the chief executive officer of TFCSB to manage the TFC team's affairs more objectively and strategically.

"Salary negotiations, contracts, offer letters, and other matters are not managed by PBSNT or the TFC board of directors. They will be handled by the TFCSB management team in an orderly manner according to the approval of the PBSNT board of directors' meeting," he said.
